Cyberstorm MK3 would fit in original A3000D case.
It's the same card as CSPPC, however without the PPC chip on it. It features the best SCSI controller for classic Amiga.

Beware of some Cyberstorm MKII accelerators because they have DMA issues which will cause your onboard SCSI function if you have any fast ram installed on the board

Like Mel, I'd be interested in an '060 card for my A3000 also. Ditto for not wanting PPC. Question is, how available are the MK3 cards? Where to find? Any advice from anyone? Best regards...Art

I highly recommend this dealer, much better than Vesalia because they actually send the right items you order and not the wrong ones :-D

As for the MkIII and the CyberstormPPC, make sure you get one of the Phase 5 ones with the low-profile angled simm slots. The later DCE ones, aside from being crap on reliability, have vertical mounting simms which don't fit under the 3000's drive bay tray iirc.

Thanks for the tips, as for me, preserving then A3000's original case, etc., is real important. I like to think of my Amiga's kinda like they are antique cars, the closer to original the better. :-D

ouch
guess I grabbed the last CS PPC from them then but it didn't work as it should so they couldn't send it to me, they have sent it to Germany for repair so I have to wait until it's working 100%.
I've been told they are going to get some more CS PPC boards a bit later.
Also have the other CS PPC board here which I showed you the picture of, I tested it in one of my A4000 but just got a black screen and no disk activity whatsoever.
Will send it to JJ at Amiga Center and hopefully he can repair it like he did with my CS MKIII which works like a swiss clock!
