if i were commodore i'd concentrate in putting Amiga up to date with multimedia market I mean DVD and Flash.
ColdFire or PPc should be used

Uh, Commodore died in 1994.  I'm not sure I get where you're going with this.  Are you stating what Commodore should have done back before they went bankrupt in 1994?

Confused,

(Cue: X-Files theme music ;~)

Err, crikey. When did you send this post?
Commodore went belly up in 1994.
If you go here you'll see the full feature set of the soon-to-arrive AmigaOS4 for PPC chips only.
DVD support is there and Flash is supported by the Voyager web-browser.

I think he was trying to reply to AmiDelf's "if you were commodore, and you hadn't gone bankrupt" question.

puppy, I think you need a vague clue of what's going on with the computer world, Commodore, and Amiga today if that's what you think.

"DVD and Flash"... is that all you do with your PC?  Sure you wouldn't just like an x86 powered toaster?  Only problem is, the Intel symbol would burn into the toast each time...

Commodore *died* almost a decade ago!

Hi jd997,

Yes, flash does seem to be supported by Voyager but nowadays a lot of sites use Flash5 or higher.
Voyager supports only up to 4(?).
Anyway, my little kid is telling me I don't have a real computer(ie a peecee)  because he can't play (flash)games on his favorite games-site!! ;-)

we can't program on Amiga easily, and software is not enough
