Why did you post this on here?  That CPU is useless on an Amiga!
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

Not exactly useless but you will run into trouble every so often as most software made to work with the 040/060 presumes it's a full version one and crash.

I seem to recall Eyetech (or similar) selling boards with that CPU - they were about a hundred quid cheaper than the ones with MMU and FPU - I think they may have been clocked at 70 MHZ - but the lack of FPU made it pretty useless for most of the apps folk wanted an 060 for (Imagine, C4D etc).

I'm not 100% sure of this but, someone could confirm this?

Even PowerUP cards, doesn't works without a 68K with FPU.

It is true?

Actually, I'm looking at an old version of Amiga Format right now.  Eyetech sold an uprated 75MHz Apollo 68060 board for the A1200.  It worked by piggy-backing a small pcb containing a plcc 68060 w/o fpu kind of like a Quadoubler for the Mac or A3640.  The integer unit was fast but alas, no fpu so I don't think they sold many.  You had the option of removing the pcb from the mainboard and installing a full 68060.

I did read somewhere that the 68EC060 units may actually have complete mmu and fpu units but that Motorola did not want to guarantee them so they slapped the EC badge on the chips.  I believe you can find out if this is one of those by checking the mask revision and serial number.
