I have PS/2 keyboard adapter from Softhut (not sure what kind) and it doesn't require any drivers at all. Just plug it in and go.

Hi,

> Ehhmm...doesn't it need a keyboard connected to be able to boot at all?

An Amiga usualy boots without any input device (mouse, keyboard, joystick) connected to the computer (in opposide to a PC). In fact you could switch the keyboard and the mouse between two running Amigas using a manual KVM (not an electronic one) without any problems. A PC would hang if you switch of its mouse or keyboard during run, there you have to use an electronic KVM that emulates the existance of a keyboard/mouse to the computer that currenbtly is not connected to it.

Try again, my A3000T does boot (as any other Amiga should also do) without anything connected to the motherboard except the power supply (and a floppy drive of cause).

Hi,

> So at least now I can look and see what all is on the computer.

With Kickstart/Workbench 1.3.1 you won't see all stuff that is stored on the HD without a keyboard connected to the Amiga.
You will only see that files and directories that have an according icon. Every file without an icon is invisible and cannot be made visible with WB 1.3. You have to use a shell and use the DIR or LIST command to see the whole contents of a directory.

I have good news, and bad news.  The bad news is that I have been unable to find a keyboard.  One of my proffs had one for an A1000 but it ued an RJ4 connecter not a dim connector so I was unable to use it.

I think I've got a 2000 keyboard spare, if you're interested.  I'm in the UK.
