@ CU_AMiGA

As regards your account, I've asked the admins to look into it. Can't imagine what can have gone wrong (are you sure you entered the right password? Like maybe forgotten an uppercase or underscore or something?)

For your information, even though for the moment you can't log in, his email is displayable on amigaworld, so you can email him at anytime you wish. (PM me if you want the details, if you're unable to find his email on amigaworld)

Finally, I got no problem that you posted this thread, but have you also PM'd one of the mods, admins or DaveyD? Well in any case, like I said, I've aked the admins to look into it for a quick resolution to this problem.

You are so full of it CU_AMiGA, this is just an excuse to continue on your vendetta with the site staff, especially Mikey_C. :-) You might want to get it to send you your password ( so you can check it ) and let an admin know what your email address is currently so it can be checked ( if you already tried that ) to see if it is correct.

Cecelia, nice picture, now check out the About Us link, you will find that MikeB is no longer a staff member ( and nor am I ). For satire to work it kind of needs to be vaguely accurate.

War of the egos indeed.
Hate figure.

The Pic is accurate regardless.

Anyway, what happened to MikeB?

Hey Yo!

Yes! That is just what it bloody well is. AN EXCUSE! :-) I don't know what you have done to my account this time. But when i type my username and password (to log in) i get that note saying "Thank you for logging in, CU_AMiGA" and then it just goes back to the homepage without me being logged in?!?! Now, how are you going to squirm your way out of this one DaveP? And don't deny it either, i have the proof right here.

Wow paranoid conspiracy theories. Given you didn't engage your brain last time maybe you will this time:

you will find that MikeB is no longer a staff member ( and nor am I )

The bit in bold applies. As for your problem it is one experienced by loads of people and has to do with either your browser cache, your cookies or your hosts file. I will leave it up to an exercise to the reader to go and find the Aw.net FAQ on this perennial problem.

Perhaps you ought to do some reading before throwing allegations around, nah, that doesn't suit your style now does it?

Hey Yo!

Yeah. A typical {bleep}ish comment be an AmigaWorld member. You probably know very well that Mikey_C ripped me off. But to save you and his precious reputation and the site, you lie about it. And brush the truth like some dirt under a rug - and for shame! :-( I don't see Mikey_C coming here and defending himself.

Just face it DaveP, i am right here and that's the bottom line cos CU_AMiGA said so. :pissed:

Quite a difference between this statement:

I attempted to log onto AmigaWorld forums (my temporary ban had ended), but when i typed my username (the trademarked CU_AMiGA famously made by me!) and password, the bugger wouldn't let me in!

and this:

Just a couple of points to clarify it for you.

a) DaveP is no longer a staff member of AmigaWorld. So no need to act like a dic* to him when he is NOT involved.

b) The usual practise of not allowing someone to post on AW is through suspension, such as the one you had received. I don't know why you claim that we tamper with accounts, but anyway...

c) Like I state, your first point is a little different from your second. The first had the connotation that no matter how many times you typed in your password, AW would not allow you to go in. In your second post, you state that you can get in, but it seems as though you are not logged in. I too have suffered from this, but the easiest way to get around it, is to actually click on a thread.

You need to calm down a little. This is not a conspiracy to get the "famous CU_AMiGA" kicked off, just try what I have asked you to do, and see what happens.
