Using clockport-devices on Amiga 500 Tower?
« on: March 17, 2005, 12:28:45 PM »
Hi!
Is it possible to use the clockport interface on a Buddha-controller and connect the Delfina soundcard on the clockport-connection with a Amiga 500 Tower and the Micronik zorro-busboard?

 :-D

Maybe.

The problem is that some busboards do not carry all signals as they should. A similar discussion about an X-Surf has been goin on on the amiga-news.de forum, where the developer (Jens Schönfeld) talked about these problems with some busboards. The Buddha is from the same developer. It *probably* will work, but who knows.

If you want a clockport in your (towered) A500, get the A500 clockport-adaptor for the 68k-slot, which gives you two clockports.

Its available from Individual Computers (http://www.ami.ga).

Have fun,
McTrinsic

I'll guess I have try it first  :-)

But another problem may be the software, often the clockport resides on a different adress than on the A1200.
