Workbench res problem
« on: March 14, 2005, 05:45:20 PM »
I've had my A1200 connected to my 1942 monitor.
When i've moved it to a friend connected it to the TV monitor. ofcourse i forgot the workbench floppies so i can't change the res on the screen and the screen does just flicker. Does anyone know how to fix this problem without a workbench floppy disk?

Hold both mouse buttons and power up. Start without boot sequence and type loadwb (return) followed by endcli (return). Go into Prefs and change the screen mode.

start the computer in ealrly start menu and boot without startup sequence the the shell will appear on your TV
.
delete the screenmode.prefs from systemdisk:prefs/env-archive
and reboot from HD

maybe the screenmode.prefs is on :
systemdisk:prefs/env-archive/sys
but search a little on env-archive and you will find it.
