Something really rare for a change.

OK, I was watching this auction and since it is now officially way out of my price range, I though it would be nice to share it with everyone else. ;-)

Viper 530!!! These are extra rare and I think that the production run was very low...perhaps as much as 50 were made in total, or less. This one is called E-matrix 530, however it's exactly the same product, only sold under a different name for the Polish market, IIRC.

Enjoy. :-)

They are hard to get as no one is willig to sell it, but not really rare as DCE made a few hundred of them (got one myself).
From looking at the picture I can tell that this card is overclocked if it really runs at 50MHz. The place where the PGA 68030 should be is empty, but the place where there is only a printed PLCC68030 on my card seems to be populated with a chip on the picture. Cards with a PLCC 68030 only ran at 33 or 40MHz according to the manual (there is no 50MHz PLCC 030 anyway). That would explain the fan that is part of the auktion.
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

Wait till you see my A500 ;-)

Its got the aforementioned E-Matrix530 with 64 MB RAM, an ICD-Flickerfixer, 2MB Mini Megichip, 2.5" HD internal (Notebook) CD-ROM, Clockportadapter with attached Subway.

I`m not the sole creator of this monster as quite a few people helped me with various parts.
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

Wasn´t there a 040 board for the A500? now that would be hardcore.
