Whats up guys?

so guys, long time no post, whats up on planet amiga?, I've been up to alot of stuff!, been working for a handful of companies doing web design and some corpy packs, logos, etc etc. I'm sick of the graphics field I decided so I toyed with the idea for a while of going to school to study Nursing, but me a nurse? get real... so I decided on getting my TESL cert and am scouting a school to teach at in 06 over in China (this oughta be an adventure), got a handful I'm seriousely looking at. On the personal front I quit cigarettes, booze, and drugs, I dropped a huge amount of weight and I'm in the best shape of my life. Just finished up planning on a trip to Costa Rica this June I'm taking. Life is good

how have you guys been?  :-D

EDIT: btw I'm now a card carrying Libertarian, not a Repub

For my own part, since you last visited, my wife has given birth to my son, I've blown up at least one computer, built up the network to a pretty good level. Am still doing my writing, got broke into earlier this year...

Built some good friendships with Karlos and Cecilia too :-)

Oh and I'm still rubbish at QuakeWorld, just ask ajk ;-)

Skimped on the details? what details?

I ditched A.org for various reasons, none of which have to do with me disliking this site , I told that to redrumloa on a messenger app I think. I've ditched a bunch of my past vices. I got into a more healthy lifestyle (nutrition, lifting, cardio, etc) and I've decided on a strange new course for myself  not much else to say. I'm pretty much not into the computer at all as a hobby anymore, I only have one system now (P4 setup), and although I still spend way to much time on it, my sleep pattern now flows with the sun and not the moon. What other details? well I'll plead the fifth on questions about amiga companies in the intrest of keeping the peace, Suffice to say I harbor no ill will toward any amiga (genre) related individuals or their respective companies.

Hmm what else to say?, I've just recently gotten contact lenses and they rule

Well the burglary was a pita, but the computer dying was far too impressive for me to be too angry about - getting one of the largest rooms in the masonette completely filled with smoke in the matter of seconds was quite astounding, and one hell of a way to bow out of service. :-D

Glad to hear you're doing well...positive momentum is always a good thing, keeps us young and healthy.

As for me, I've also quit the sticks (still smoke the occasional cigar tho), and hopefully moving to the northern Cali area pending a job I'm trying to setup. Looking forward to sky out of here and get into a different line of work, something a little less demanding so I can finally finish school. As for planet amiga, aside from visiting this site, I check out WinUAE and AROS on occasion...and that's about it.

Also bought a streetbike at the end of last summer, and was having a blast up until it snowed...but I'm looking forward to spring and the return of nice weather, been planning a few big rides both with family/friends and solo. First Seattle to visit some folks (also hitting Vancouver and anything else interesting along the way), then later in the year we plan to cruise through Arizona, parts of New Mexico and who knows maybe even Mexico. I'm _really_ looking forward to riding through the desert, it's something I've been dreaming of (literally) for years.
