CGXMode

There's a menu in CGXMode that allows adjusting
contrast, brightness, etc. Should the changes
made to these setting be saved to the file in presets/monitors, or are the changes made with
these settings not permanent?

I seem to remember reading that these settings are not actually implemented in CyberGraphX yet (although they are in CgxMode). When you change the settings does the screen display actually change?

Yes, but when I reboot the display looks
the way it did before the changes. I guess
it would have to also be implemented in
CyberGraphX to be saved permanently?

there should be a 'save' button in there somewhere - I used that program when I had a cybervisionPPC in my old A3000 and it worked fine, basically works similar to Picasso96Mode, allowing you to adjust your default scan rates so you're not using 60hz and frying your eyes when you don't have to.

Good rates to shoot for are 72hz on 800x600 screens, maybe 64 colors?
