Poor Ol' Karlos
« on: February 13, 2005, 08:31:55 PM »
Yes it would seem that Karlos succomed to his life long passion of food way too spicy to be healthy yesterday, and apparently is now prepairing to suffer the consiquences...

Now normally I'd never do this, but, I don't think that in this instance he'll mind from our discussion in ICQ:

Karlos: Hey, you live in Sheffield yeah? Thats not too far away.
Leander: Yeah, what of it?
Karlos: Well you might be able to see the mushroom cloud :-D
Leander: ROTFLMAO

So the next time you feel that particular call of nature, spare a thought for Karlos, who by now is probably having is lower half melted by the contents of what was his colon.. :-o
Blessed Be,
Alan Fisher - the_leander

I can feel the sluggish stirring of magma within :nervous:

I fear what may come - sitting on the throne, the anticipation of awaiting the inevitable. The tortured colonic tremors that fortell the coming sudden eruption; the gust of superheated steam as it hits the water; the lambent red glow rising from the depths of whatever survives of the lavatory...

Yes, I am afraid...

A truly chthonic experience awaits...

Well, I can joke about it, but seriously, that was nothing short of excruciating, not to mention indescribably unpleasant :-(

No more hot food for me! At least not for a week

Seriously, why do we do this to ourselves?

Because the capsicum in hot food triggers pain receptors in the mouth, releasing endorphins which add a mild feeling of euphoria to what is already very tasty food. And that "hot coals" feeling in the stomach isn't bad either. Although it's all downhill from there. ;-)

Junkies have downers, drinkers have hangovers. We curry eaters end up having to put calamine lotion from the fridge on our toilet paper.

And how. True on many levels. I pity the fishes now...

Pity the pain receptors in one's bottom don't do the endorphrin rush thing as well, really.

Even after a shower I'm suffering the urge to sit in a bucketful of ice cold calamine lotion...

I think my bottom must be made from asbestos, as i very rarely get the "ringer stinger" these days.  Just an unbelievably painful rumble in my stomach just prior to "release", followed by a calm satisfaction and a cold sweat!

Just sit with a wet sock between your cheeks and hope nobody notices the bulge.
