Not amiga related but could do with some advice about a problem.
« on: February 09, 2005, 03:10:39 AM »
Well in august i orderd a Sega Dreamcast replacement case from these ppl here....   http://www.consolesandgadgets.co.uk
Well after months of him telling me that they are out of stock blah blah and his replys take forever and at times ive only been able to get a reply when i go on to his auctions and ask a question. He says im welcome to a full refund and yet when he has said that too many times as when i ask i dont get a reply for ages. The thing that annoys me most is that he has them listed as in stock on his site in which they obviously are not.I paid using nochex, well one thing is for sure if i was anyone out there i would never use this place for anything.
Then to add insult to injury i tried to use there forums to get an answer and he changes my whole question to something as if im telling people how great there site is.

@Krize,yeah cheers mate i did get some sort of refund although it was not the full price i had actually paid but i gave up asking...One thing is for sure though i will not be ordering from there again as it must of took about 4/5 month to even get anywhere with a refund and the emails were very unprofessional..

Sorry to hear that even with Dreamcast suppliers, they are that way!

Just curious, what is wrong with your current Dreamcast case? I happened to have a spare dreamcast which the len's died out, and the casing wasnt all that bad, but I don't have it with me no longer.

Dreamcast rules!  :-D

Yeah i know it`s very annoying when you cant trust certain suppliers that just take your money and make you wait a life time.Well there was nothing with my dreamcast case it was a clear black case i had orderd. But yeah the dreamcast does rock and i had picked up a second hand one for £2 sold as seen with no cables.I got it home and fired it up and there was no control working.so i opend it up and the cable from the motherboard to the joypad sockets was rusted. So i had a spair broke dreamcast around which the laser had died on so i used the cable from there and it worked perfect.I also bought two sega saturns for £3 for the two, both sold as seen and both worked great and one of them was a MK1...

Hi Gav

Sorry to hear that you are not 100% happy with service from ourselves, we did eventually get A limited supply of Dc Cases in and I am sorry you had to wait, our site now clearly shows the stock staus.

Dreamcast stuff is getting very hard to source and please beleive me when I say we were let down over 6 mths by suppliers promising that they could get us more cases.

We did offer you a refund every time we comunicated, we had no bad intentions.

You mention you got a refund of sorts I presume we were unable to refund your original payment back to your card due the lenght of time after your original transaction.

Did you not recieve the full amount ?

Noice!

I bought my bros for $50. You clearly got a good deal. I got all the two original controllers n such.

I already bought a mod chip for mine, and looking forward to the install and playing Radiant Silvergun. :-D
