Parting Ways
« on: February 03, 2005, 01:53:00 AM »
It is ironic after all my years of supporting the Amiga, it is now that I join this forum. I've decided that a PC running Windows XP on a 2.6 Ghz processor is just about equal to the Amiga of 1987.

So I'd like to see my stuff go to a good home. If you can use something, let me know how much it is worth to you. I'll accept pretty much any nominal ammount. But you gotta pay shipping and from Anchorage, AK, it will be a little pricey.

Manuals? Disks? Box? Maybe, maybe not...

Here's my initial list, more to come...

Progressive Image Technology DCTV

3.5” LD disk drive (from A500?)

ECE midi box manual

Phase 5 Digital Products Cybervision 64/3D

Phase 5 Cyberstorm MKII 060 board with SCSI

A4000 desktop orig 030

Lots of software--ask

i hope you`ve installed WinUAE on that hardware....

(i run something similar - and find i can run most of what i have on my expanded classic system, with little or no problem at all - and faster)

@ Akprodr

You might get a nice sum for that 060 card, especially as it has the SCSI module too.

Make me an offer!

Whoohoo! I've now posted two posts!

I am keeping one A2000. I'll be willing to trade for a suitable ethernet card.

And I will continue to keep my "Intel Inside" sticker on my garbage compacter.

Just for the sake of a free estimate... On what platform will you continue? Or leaving computers for good? (Jzz, just not the Mac word)

Thanks for all the interest via PMs. Two items are pending. As for the price of items, let me know what YOU think the item is worth to YOU.
