Speaker suggestions?
« on: January 19, 2005, 04:50:51 AM »
Okay, I just purchased a 2003 neon and would like some suggestions.  I don't need any info's on amps, subs, or head unit, just the dash/door/deck speakers.

I already have a JL 500/1 and JL 300/4 for amps.  The sub is crap, but I'm not about to replace it yet (rockford f*sckgate 12" dual voice).

Points or suggestions?

You can color me confused.  I've done webmaster and administrative support for Amiga.org ever since the main banner was yellow (1998 I think).  I'm not the main webmaster but have the knowledge of programming modules and understand the innerworkings of Xoops, phpnuke, post-nuke, and many of the other CMS packages available.  When I had quite a bit of free time on my hand, I almost had a working replacement for post-nuke prior to the xoops version of Amiga.org.  Read through my (in much need of maint but severely lack the time) web site for details if you want.

Anyway... I picked up a pair of JL VR650CSi components for just over $150, so I'm happy as hell.  Now it's time to get the matching 6X9s for the back deck.

I use a pair of Celestion F1s for my everyday tasks, they are fantastic all round performers.

If I need a little extra then a use a set of Mordaunt Short speakers
