Is there any way to drag a window off-screen on OS3.9?

As topic, just like you do on windows... It would be really helpfull ... is there a way to do it?

Not by default. But there is a ugly hack which allows it. I don't remember if it was PowerWindows which did it. Anyway it's not good idea to try that, because there is no safe way to do that in OS3.x. I did try that hack once, and it was too easy to make your Amiga crash :P

Actually i use it only if needed (you can lauch it when you want)

PowerWindowsNG is better.. It allows you drag the window off-screen in any direction you like.. just patch your ROM.. Works fine in WinUAE, and WinUAE doesn't complain about checksums or anything.

many things can work with uae or emus... I am talking on a real amiga :-D since "hacks" are involved, I really do not feel comfortable using any of them....

I was hopping that maybe picasso96 could do that or another non hackish way would exist...

I used PowerWindowsNG on my 1200 AGA. It would crash frequently until I shuffled the order in which my S-S called some software patches. After that, I began to really appreciate what this programme can do! It is really useful.

Why not just raise the desktop size beyond the screen resolution and disable autoscroll?
That way there's invisible screen area off the edge you can put windows in without then whizzing all over the display area when the mouse gets close to the edge of the monitor.
Saw the light in 1990, found WinUAE in 2003
