Amiga 3000 In Great Condition - On ebay
« on: January 14, 2005, 05:12:13 AM »
Hello All...

I'm Selling an Amiga 3000 with a 19" monitor on ebay right now.  I purchased this not to long ago then shortly after I found a great deal on an A4000T (...and just had to have it).  Now I unfortuantly need to sell the A3000 (really, due to my girlfriend not letting me have more then two computers in the home office...)  Anyway this machine is in great condition (no yellowing at ALL!) and works great.  I didn't have any time to upgrade it, so it is all original with the exception of the RTC battery which I just replaced(There was a small amount of leakage from the original battery although not enough to do any damage).

Take a look :-o You know you want it...http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-22702-9746-0?uid=175344685&site=0&ver=LC080104B&lk=ViewItem&Item=5157042367

Before anyone bids, I suggest changing the following while there's still time:

Quote

CPU 68030
FPU 68881

25 or 16 Mhz CPU speed?

Quote

SuperBuster -07, -09 and -11
SuperDMAC -02, -04
Ramsey -04 and -07

Your machine can have only one of each of these.
While you're at it, post the WD SCSI chip revision as well.

Quote

Kickstart 1.3 & 2.04

So it comes with rom-tower?

Quote

Black & White composite video output

A3000 does not come with one of these.

If it's a 68881 then it's a 68030@16MHz.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Oops!

To be accurate I copied the basic machine specs from another site, and forgot to add the specifics...guess I defeated the purpose. Thanks for catching that!

All of the information on the item description is now correct.  Sorry for the confusion...

Just wanted to save you from a bunch of unnecessary e-mails from bidders, asking what's exactly under the hood. :-)

It looks great! I'd get it, but right now, I'm maxed out, spacewise.

If the bidding doesn't meet your reserve, will you consider selling individual components, or is that a no-no?

I know what you mean about that whole space-problem thing...

Let's see how the auction goes, I'll let you know.  The reserve is not set very high so it doesn't look like a problem right now, but ya never know...
