« on: January 05, 2005, 11:59:47 PM »
Hi dudes

Is the X-copy TNG or same kind of sotfware freeley distributable now?

I need something like that to my 2000, but must be RTG compatible, or promotionable with newmode.

This program has always mystified me.

It originally came out with a pass-thru that would plug into external
floppy drives and remove copy protection. It was a commercial package
albeit with a naughty intention.

From what I've seen X-Copy came in a pink GUI, green GUI and a blue &
black GUI but went straight into a PAL 620x256 screen with no option
to retarget.

A very effective program but I've lately seen `X-Copy' in the Virus
Executor brainfile so be warned!

Still, I remember X-Copy itself finding a virus on a friend's Heimdall
2 disk...
