A1 cant get broad band, or cable

Hiya gang, i got an a1, with early os4.0. I can get broad band, or cable, nead dial up.

As its an early os4.0, cant transfer any drivers for dfo: to enable disk transfers. Cant acces web with an external modem off my a120/060 as it has no parrellel port to take the modem.

Tried parnet, but again no parallel port.

Can i download os4.0 updates to a pc. then burn them to a cd. unzip them and install up dates to os4.0.

Are there any users near bristol or cardif, who can help? it IS a new system i bought from stella dreams, but cant get hold of Sven.

You should be able to download them to a pc and burn them out as an ISO image. A friend with broadband did it for me. The newest download of OS4 should enable your parallel and serial ports.
