My A600 keyboard started to act wierd and I found that one of the metal paint traces inside the flexible keyboard ribbon had split inside the plastic (tiny crack) right where it connects to the motherboard connector (giving all kinds of keyboard problems).  I guess I took the A600 apart one too many times and determined that flexing the cable caused the problem/trace break.  Btw, if anyone has a spare (and working) A600 keyboard please let me know.
