Use 10mb

not 100mb

bec amigaOS won't work on 100/10mb ethernet.

Just use the powerne2k.device (copy it from the amithlon_hd: partition if you don't already have it installed.

In Genesis, set it up the same way you'd set up any other Amiga NIC. Essentially, pick the device driver and off you go.

Well, the RTL 8029 is a PCI 10 Mbit card (actually it's the cipset), and known to work fine with Amithlon.

AmigaOS itself will work just fine with 10/100 Mbit or even just 100 Mbit cards, provided you have the drivers. Currently the only 100 Mbit drivers available for Amithlon are those that work with the OpenPCI library, for RTL 8139 based PCI cards.

Cool, my new motherboard (Gigabyte GA-7VAXP) has onboard RTL8139(A) so hopefully It'll work :))

@ikir
Don't forget to copy "vmc.resource" from AmithlonHD:Libs
to sys:Libs.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
