Sorry to see the business closing down.  I just bought a Bhudda Gold card from the list and now I remeber why I hate Pay Pal so much.  All I wanted to do was pay with my credit card and I have to spend 10 minutes farting around with Pay Pal screens, creating accounts, making passwords only to be told that my credit card was already assigned to another account (must have been when I bought some motorcycle parts ages ago) and then had to bugger around with a differnt credit card.  Arrrggghh!!!

Anyway, I got it :-)

Always a bad day for the Amiga when more resellers disappear..

@ itix

I remember a couple of weeks ago when this was told to us, but it's one thing to be told of a pending closure and another to see it actually occurring. If you know what I mean.

And, I\'ve relapsed, LOL.

Hmm, might be canceling again. LOL

@Bodie

Lets hope Red can still continue. But in general selling HW for classic Amigas is dead business (soon). Peg or A1 sales are not helping much either (supply problems, problematic state of both OS'es, etc etc).

Aye! I'll drink to that. He's a great seller, and more importantly, a great personality. Wish we had more people of his ilk in the community.

Perhaps an expanded product range (ie. x86 products, or even classic Mac products) would help? Don't know though... I see, honestly I do, his predicament.

I believe that this is up to us as individual users coming together to make up this community. Healthy competition (I've said this so many times, I bet I bore people to death!) is a plus for both MOS and AOS4. The flamewarring gets nowhere... I believe that we have lost so much opportunity over the last two years especially, due to the constant bickering. Maybe our parents should get us to deal with our petty infighting, or maybe we should all attend "Anger Management Clsses"! :-P

Hey guys, cheer up:-) We were just small potatoes. I do appreciate all the kind words. I mostly had alot of fun and we did o-k, we're not bancrupt or anything. Just time to move on for various reasons. Some obvious, some not so obvious.

Cheers :pint:

I'm not married yet, however I do fear the day, in terms of what to do with all that extra hardware that I have lying around. :nervous:

You do what I did, make a "lab" in the garage.  I only have 2 Amigas in the house right now, the A1200 and my CD32 in the closet.  The rest are destined to stay outside until we find a house with a "game room".  :-(

Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
