Looking for technical documentation
« on: November 30, 2004, 09:57:38 PM »
Hi!

Does someone have documents describing amiga hardware from a programmer point of view?

I mean information about the different chips and how to programm them (registers etc...)

@FB_mach2

'Developer CD V2.1' has lots of information about this, and other aspects of Amiga related programming. It should be still available from various amiga shops.

I'm sure there's some online documentation too, but the Hardware Reference Manual (originally a thick book, included on the DevCD as hypertext) is the main reference for amiga hardware programming.

Abacus made some really great books on Amiga software programing from the hardware prospective.

Got the books lying around here somewhere will post the titles when I get the chance.

my old copies at this point are totaly dog eared and stained to the max.
