AT-BUS2008 on A2000-A
« on: November 30, 2004, 07:35:19 PM »
Hi,
has anybody ever tryed to use a BSC/AlfaData AT-BUS 2008 IDE controller/ram expansion on an A2000-A?
I have mine with 2MB on it, the A2000-A has 512KB on board and 1MB on expansion card (CPU slot).
The ram is OK, I read 3.5MB with 'avail' (3MB fast and 512KB chip)with the IDE controller disabled by jumper. But if I enable the IDE controller, the Amiga won't even boot.
I know there are some differences between the A2000-A Zorro slots and those on B2000, I have schematics of both.
Can someone help me?
Thanx
S.
