CD32 SX32MK2 Problems
« on: November 27, 2004, 02:02:21 PM »
I recently purchased an sx32mk2 from eyetech.

I can do Parnet, the extra memory I added is recognised.

But I CANNOT get the damned thing to work if I connect a floppy or hard disc!

Do I need a beefier PSU? Or is mine just plain faulty?

If I do need a better PSU, where can I get either:

A) The instructions to build one?
B) A pre-built one?

If you suspect it's a power supply problem then this adapter might do the trick. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3543&item=8148680335&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
I would still have thought the standard supply would have been sufficient to run an external floppy. I suppose you could always try eyetech and see what they think.
