4000T 3.1 OS Disks
« on: November 12, 2004, 12:38:22 AM »
I'm Looking to get the OS 3.1 disk Set for a 4000T. I currently have 2 versions of OS 3.1 one from Commodore and one from AT. But the 4000T requires a special set with workbench.library on the install and workbench disks.

Any and All help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Greg

Are you sure? AFAIK the WB disksets are the same for all hardware.

Yeah I sure the acception to the rule is the 4000T. Because it has both scsi and ide in rom they did not have room for the workbench.library which is in all of the other roms from the A500 - 4000D

The A4000T disks are different to other OS3.1 disks.

One difference is that they contain 'workbench.library', although, I think there are other differences.

My A4000T disks are corrupt, and so I wouldn't mind an unmodified original backup (if that makes sense  )

--Edit:

In fact, the non-A4000T disks won't even boot properly on an A4000T
