Bugs reloaded
« on: November 09, 2004, 03:43:13 PM »
Yay! No bedbugs! Turns out it is the carpetbeetle (warning: turn off image loading if you're squemish like me!).  Although I do have carpet  I don't think they're eating it (my carpet looks like it's the really cheap plastic variety), I do have one woollen sweater though, that might be their breeding place (too chicken to look at it really.....).

Well, at least I can safely go to bed again :-D.

Have you thought about doing something about getting over your phobia.

I turned my room into a chemical wasteland, I'd like to see those bugs try to survive my insecticide barrage .

@speel:
Y'r welcome to come feast on them .

What did carpet beetles eat before there were carpets?

Well, in my utter hygienic and complete sterile environment, I don't have yet my body resistance system adapted to bacteria/virus rich food. If I would go to an African country, where they have their flesh uncovered on the marketplaces, a civilized civilian from the west would get a tad sick after eating such.
I still want to try the Thai grasshopper :-)
've already eaten the Chinese seaweed delicatesse (and that DID taste good, honestly!)
also, I still want to try the French escargots.
But octopus isn't worth trying, it tastes like rubber band (if I have to believe myself when I was a kid)
And I'm still in doubt of the goat eye
Also, the Masai milk-with-blood-straight-from-the-artery-of-a-cow doesn't seem to me very appealing.

Apart from these shows being utterly boring
it really shows that the tv-makers are out of imagination, since they can only come up with a "dares ya" concept

I know what you mean, it almost makes you want a McDonalds instead. :-o

Then again, they`ll probably be doing a "McMasai McMilk-with-blood-straight-from-the-artery-of-a-McCow" soon.
On schedule, and suing
