I let the Girl Friend use my computer the other day, can back to find a whole bunch of spyware programs (webhelpers, search assistants etc..) had installed themselves!

How does she do it!?!?!? I had managed to keep the machine clean for 6 months... :-(

I'm using the 1.0 pre release which I think is way better than 1.0 (although it doesn't look quite as nice).  I tried 1.0, but it was noticably slower than the pr... go figure.

Interesting thing a guy does here at work:
He uses  VMWARE to run a virtual XP and runs his browser out of that --  very interesting (and performance is pretty good -- somewhere around 1.5GHz w/ 1GB of ram on his Laptop)...

Rebuilds just that vmware virtual system when necessary (with a ghost image ).
Really works out well..
(at my company --we use VMWARE for product testing  -- I like it a lot !  )

I wouldn't be surprised if someone was working on it, but I doubt the classic 680x0 systems could realistically be supported.

The first job would be to port the NSPR. Hell, even my own C++ framework provides a not insignificant section of the required functionality, but not the networking stuff.
