The BB2 has kickstart 45.57.  As far as I know, it's the newest.  I'd love to hear it if it isn't though (I have a hungry kickflash OS4) ;)

I am wondering if there is a problem with running the OS3.9 ROM Update and an Amiga 3000(T).  Would I need to edit the batch file to get it to work or does Setpatch know I am using a SCSI scsi.device and not a IDE scsi.device?  Reason I am asking is cuz I have having some software problems on my 3000T when I run the ROM update, renaming the update everything works fine.

What software problems are you having?

You shouldn`t need to add anything to the setpatch line in your startup-sequence, as setpatch should load the correct modules based on the hardware it finds, which in turn is partly based on what 3.1 rom you have.

BTW, what rom version are you booting from?

I am using the 3.1 ROMs for the 3000T, revision 40.68.

The problem I am having is with WHDLoad.  About half of all games I have installed do not work.  What it does it take a long time for it to start, and when it starts I get a error and a requestor, saying image is corrupt or something.  If I rename the "AmigaOS ROM Update" or delete it, the said games work fine!

Use the BB1 rom update.  Check the devs folder for a slightly smaller version of Amiga OS Rom update renamed -BB1 and use it instead.  The BB2 update has issues with some hardware configurations and is not *ABSOLUTELY* necessary.  I believe there's even a disclaimer before you install the thing about such incompatibilities.  For example, I have an MBX1230 accelerator that gives a purple screen as soon as the bb2 rom update is loaded if any ram's installed.  Doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it on that machine but roll back.

Also, check into the developer version of whdload.  You can enter some global variables that you may want to tinker with.  Maybe you'll get more mileage out of those and be able to keep the rom update.
