At home..

1) OS4
2) Because it does everything I want in a fast, efficient, stable way. I enjoy using it and programming for it. It boots quickly, and looks nice. Also, I know AmigaOS like the back of my hand, so it feels like home.
3) No way ;-)

1. Win2k
2. It's stable, does what I need and doesn't suck as much as Linux (oh and it's er....cheap....).
3. Nope (Well, MacOS if I win the lottery. And if OS4 ever gets released and I still haven't sold my BlizzPPC I'll get that, but I doubt it'll ever by my main OS again).

1.  Win2k
2.  Stability, it's the OS I know best, and software support.
3.  If OS4 gets decent software support and if I can afford an A1 at that point.

Though 3a - I suspect I'll be running Windows in some capacity given my business.  Though maybe just on my laptop, though as I've just upgraded my PC, that'll have a good few years at least.

Hello,

For me:
1) OS3.9 - BB1 on my A2000 (my A2000 doesn't boot when I install BB2, maybe due to a ROM remapping problem) and OS3.1 on my A1200
2) OS3.9 looks nice and includes CDRom features, transparent menus, and so on... OS3.1 is just enough for my game-oriented A1200 (boots very fast !)
3) I don't want to change !

1. BeOS
2. Very responsive, boots in seconds, doesn't have all the malware problems of M$ or the aggro of Linux
3. Not any time soon

Work = XP
Home, main PC = XP (gaming)
Home, second PC (internet, e-mail) = Slackware 10, BeOS
Laptop = SuSE 9.1

Waiting for the micro-A1, then OS4 will replace the Slack/BeOS box for internet and the second PC will get turned into a media server for the home network.
Have you hugged your KennyR or Paul Gadd today?

1. Workbench 3.1 (on an A500)
2. Windows makes me puke, Linux is a pain in the ass and WB3.9 is a joke.
3. BeOS is nice, but dead. I'm getting Mac OSX when my poor old A500 dies.

Linux (Fedora Core distro)
It works as it does the vast majority of what I need of an OS to do.
No.  I'll be glad to reformat the older systems to AROS when networking comes along though.

Hi HopperJF

1. Mac OS X 10.2.8 (Great OS!) :-)
2. The situation that i am in only allows me to MacOS X. But i don't mind.
3. I still have Amiga OS 3.9 CD, waiting to be used in my Amiga project. But Mac OS X will be my main OS, Amiga OS  3.9 will be for entertainment, games.

Regards,
A1200D / AGA / B1260 / 64MB RAM / KS 3.1 / AOS 3.9 / 4GB HD

Ok, time for mine!  :-)

1. MacOS X 10.2.8 (Jaguar)
2. Yes it is a good OS, however I will be upgrading to TIGER in 2005. A drawback of Jaguar is that it won't run Skype  :-(
3. Not at all. MacOS is pretty much the only OS I use, and I'm more than comfortable with it!  :-)

@HopperJF

I completely agree with you. The MacOS X is a very good OS! Is the TIGER the sucessor to the PANTHER? I was gonna purchase that one but now i may hold my cash. :-)

At work:
Windows XP, mainly because I don't have a choise. I doubt the IT-department would let me go back to Win2k. :D

At home:
Windows XP and Mandrake 10.
My girlfriend would not approve anything else! :-D
I am learning a bit of Linux though, and I'm considering to switch once I know it good enough.
