Commodity problem
« on: September 27, 2004, 10:21:48 AM »
I'm trying to use Fkey from startup (putting it in WBstartup) Firstly it throws up an annoying time-out window, secondly the prefs will not save.  What's happening?

Cheers.

Edit the .info tooltypes and add "DONOTWAIT". For saving your settings, you'll have to add them manually as tooltypes also :

?ctrl f1? RUN yam:yam

Cheers ;-)

OK thanks, but DONOTWAIT disappears from the tooltypes when i save (although it no longer times out) but i would still like it to run in the background without it's popup window.

Is RAWBInfo in your WBStartup drawer? It replaces the DONOTWAIT tooltype with a "Wait until finished?" check box for all icons in WBStartup. Make sure it's unchecked.

Try this in tooltypes:
CX_POPUP=NO

That 'll do the trick!

Sorry, i lost my hard drive and couldn't do this again.  I am trying to add text with a single button.  What is the exact tooltype entry if i wanted e.g. "SIMON" using button "\"?

Thanks

Okay,  it seems you can't move this to another drawer then save it there, but you can configure it in Commodities, save it, then move it.  Ridiculous!

Cheers
