816 Fight
« on: September 27, 2004, 03:56:57 AM »
Hey guys,

This is just a demo for the PC.

My brother was an ex-amigan, and uses Blitz Plus for the PC to make 2d games still.

This on is a simple fighter one with tons of 16bit and 8bit characters. If you guys can try it out and leave some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.

816 Fight

Thanks..

If you have any Character ideas to include, please let us know.  :-D  :-)

It's w00t!
I'd recomend running at a higher resolution, like 1024*768, and then resize the sprites (still preserving their blockiness, of course) so that they get the same size.

More moves would be welcome, of course; several of the characters has a bunch of non-fighting moves that could look cool in a fighing game.

I hope the copyright owners doesn't mind. :-)

Thanks for the posts whabang  :-)

***Really sorry about posting here so late, I was at school.

Yea, running at a high resolution would make it alot better, but we will probably work on that till the game is complete in the current resolution it runs on.

Don't worry, its not goint to be some commercial release, its kinda a fun thing to do to see what BlitzPlus for the PC can do.

Yea, so the game mods.... Heh, you mean stuff that has the animations of different characters packed right?

And, Yea, it can have a different variety of moves, but we might keep it simple for right now.

Thanks again though.  :-)
