1. Mindwalker (IIRC)
2. Probably some variant of Minesweeper
3. Good question, probably an Arcade conversion like Outrun or super hang on. Though I do remember talk of some C=64 game being first... hmmm
4. After the A500 was released almost all ST games were ports from the Amiga...
5. I think it was Shadow of the Beast 2 (came with the A500) -Edit- I know I played Newzeland Story on a friend's A500 before I got an A500 :-)
6. Megalomainia (which was the first game I bought)

I think SimCity was the first game I played on the Amiga, at least the first I
remember.

I'd also guess Mindwalker was first - but I have heard others given that title.  EA's Kelidescope came in the box of early Amiga 1000s.

For "ported to Amiga," I'd say Hex by Mark of the Unicorn.
For "ported from Amiga," I'd say Alien Fires.

These are wild guesses, but I'm basing them on the RAM requirements of 256K, which at least place them as early A1000 titles.

Also, titles that ran on 1.1 and did not run on 1.2 are bound to be very early titles.

EA's 1-on-1 was an early 256K 1.1 only game.

But let this wise man answer this question:

I think it must be Xenon 2. Followed by Lotus and BuggyBoy. Actually, these games were the only games I played when the Amiga still rocked (commercially rocked, I mean), because back then I was Amiga-less :-(

just to clear some things up here

First game to come for amiga (commercial) was MINDWALKER and it was bundled with all a1000's V1.0 machines (with 256kb mem)

and you needed the boot disk too.

as for the guys mentioning defender of the crown, well DOTC was an C64/MAC/PC port from 1983 and ported to amiga in later 1985 and redone to the max.

EA's game One-on One is a close number 2 for the first games to appear on amiga.

public domain ? well that have to be "that gun game" , based on a coinop..damn i cant remeber it but its from 1987 afaik and it had only 3 doors and 2 diffrent types of people to shoot, innocent (woman) and enemy (man with gun) ..  was the name ShootOut?   cant remeber...

anyway....good luck on finding the answers..

check HOL.ABIME.NET for more info.

Whats up with all the hate!

The first Amiga game I ever saw was First Samurai on the A500. This
was probably 1992 and I remember how amazing the sampled sound was
compared to my cronky Spectrum +2.

Then I remember seeing North & South which didn't really set me on
fire but in 1994 I bought an A1200 and played Oscar after seeing it on
UK TV show Bad Influence.

Dennis from the Desktop Dynamite package was a bit rubbish but Oscar's
awesome graphics and sampled speech kept me playing.

When I bought the A1200 I got the Amiga Format issue with
Syndicate:American Missions Disk so that was another impressive thing
to play when everyone was collecting mushrooms in Super Mario.

:-)

Then I remember an explosion of games being played, Alien Breed, Death
Mask, All Terrain Racer, Putty, Lemmings, Walker etc.etc.

The game that kept me addicted more than any commercial one was the
2-player Gauntlet style shooter `Brutal Homicide' on Aminet. Superb
Bomberman style play with futuristic devices to kill your friends.

Dynamite Warriors kept me playing too and that was PD, I'd love to pay
my shareware fee after all these years!

;-)

the first game I played on Amiga 500 was Crazy Sue. And it was the only one I played to the end - and that without cheating, even you had to begin from the start when you lost three lives.

Don't know about all those questions but my first encounter was alien breed on the A1000 my nephew has. Must have been early '90 so I wouldn't know all the other answers.

I bought several games at once in the beggining: Super Cars 2, Gods, Chuck Rock, Centurion, and one or two more (can't remember 'em).
Super Cars 2 is my favorite game ever, I still like to play it.

Don't have any answerrs but I know the first game I played on an Amiga was North&South... it was on the neighbors of my grandparents A500 before I even knew what an Amiga was.
