Posting comments on images in the gallery

Today I can't post comments on images at all.
A couple of weeks ago, I could only post comments by replying to someone else's comment. i.e. I could only comment if someone else already had.
But in the past I've been able to post comments without any problems.

Why does it seem to change almost day to day?
I'm using Mozilla btw.

I know the question had been asked and answered before (sorry :-)), its just that I wondered why it changed day to day, or is this part of the bug also?
I remember you saying a couple of weeks back that you'd made some changes, and it seemed to have fixed the problem [at least for me] - or was that just coincidence.

Try clicking the "Refresh" button on the page (not the browser refresh, but the one embedded in the page just above the attached thread).

I find that this seems to correct the lack of edit/reply/post comment buttons that occurs when you first visit the page.

Yup, I remember someone did a while ago.

With me, sometimes the Post Comment button is there already there, other times it isn't and hitting the embedded Refresh button works almost every time.  If not I either try again later or go to a different picture then back again and I can post a comment.

It could have been me. It isn't the first time I posted this "work around" :-)

Sorry for the bug's continued existance.  Only thing I can offer is that it's YARTHX (Yet another reason to hate Xoops)
