Buddha Flash troubles

I have a Buddha Flash card which I don´t use anymore, so I decided to sell it. When I was going to test it in my A3000, the machine just reboots. Without the card the computer works fine.

Anyone know what this could be and how to resolve it? Or is the card busted?

I belive you could save yourself a lot of time and effort by simply advertising it as "Used to work fine, but is now untested.  Sold as is".

This seems to work for a lot of eBay sellers in your position ;-)

I don't know if it conflicts with the scsi.device. At least the FastATA uses the scsi.device for it's IDE drives and I can imagine if one would precent it with a scsi.device for SCSI drives such as in the A3000 that it would act up.

But if there are two scsi.device, wouldnt one of them just be called 2nd.scsi.device? Or did I just dream that? :-)

Yes I belive so but perhaps the system doesn't like 2 different kinds of scsi.device? what do I know? Have you tried it in a different IDE based machine?

I have one installed in my A4000D. But it's sitting
there pretty useless though... I've got notting
hooked on it...
Besides that, the system is running great.
I once had a HDD on the B-F, only for testing, and it worked fine.
I can't tell you why it's not working in your system,
because i've got no experiences with the A3000.

No, I don´t have another Zorro based system to test it in... But it seems odd that Jens Schönfeld, who normally is very careful with details, should design a card which doesn´t work in 1/3 of the Amigas it is made for. ( A2000, 3000, 4000 )

You are most definitly right about that so why not try and ask Jens... he might have some info?

Else I can just say the same as k-disk... if it don't work it's most likely busted. :-(
