My my my.  We all want what we cannot get.  I have a spare 4000T keyboard that is NEW unused.  I am waiting for a nice 4000T now to go with it!

worst case, I buy that ps2 adapter and use a PC keyboard.. will a wireless PC keyboard work w/it?  the wireless base is PS2

worst? I'd say its best.. wireless should work fine if youre sure its PS2, not usb. But it may need USB for charging batteries (at least some wireless mouse work like that)

But wireless is so non-retro. :-(

Vesalia sells them with UK or German layout.

Weve tested the Logitech Internet wireless keyboard + mouse - works great with Poseidon USB.

If you havent USB get a PS2 mouse adapter (eg punchinello iii from Power Computing) and a PC keyboard interface.

I have at this point in time nine computers. What's wrong with me?? Six are Amigas, though and that's good. I just set up my little render farm-to-be and started plugging in keyboards, monitors etc and all the Amigas work. Re the keyboard thing, why not use the Lyra adapter and any PC keyboard. Or, did you know that the A2000 keyboard will work on the A4000T? I have three A2000's and one A4000T so as I was moving things around I discovered that I had plugged in the A2000 keyboard into the tower. Seems to work just fine. That might make it easier to get your keyboard. Good luck.

I'm assuming a A2000 kb will also work in a A4000D, right?

I am using an A2000 KB with one of my A4000D's right now with a standard PC adapter.  It works fine.

Sorry, Yes.  Standard AT to PS2 (PC) keyboard adapter works fine here with all my A3000 or A2000 keyboards to both of my A4000D's.

no problem.. my a4000D wont be here till tomorrow and I didnt know what kind of connection was on the end.  

kinda puts a stop on something for me... my A4k will not have a kb until I get one (bought one from a AO user yesterday)..  I was going to buy a adapter a friend of mine had (I had not seen it) which lets you use a PS2 kb on a Amiga.. but I guess it wont work because I'm assuming its a serial -> ps2..



and for sure you cant just plug in a PS2 kb ? what happens if you do?
