Does it support POP3/IMAP yet?

It doesn't "deliver" adverts, it displays them discreetly on the right pane, just like it does when you do a normal google search.

Has anyone ever complained about the advertising on google searches? I don't even notice it.

@Blomberg

They're thinking of adding POP/IMAP access, currently there are gateways that will let you access with POP mail programs,and an HTTP parser/plugin is being tested for use with Outlook/OE/Evolution.

I can honestly say that so far, the advertising is far less obtrusive than any other free webmail I've used. You get some text only links (like those in normal google search) down the right hand side of the display and thats it. No popups, no banners, no image links.

True the mail is scanned (using the same engine that powers the scans they do whenever you search for anything with google) but the EULA makes it clear that no humans will read your mail (aside from the intended recipients, of course) etc.

A 1000MB of message storage is worth the inconvenience. Hell, you can always get your money back :lol:

I never got that  :-?

I'm not too worried, though, I got another invite curtesy of Mike_Amiga aka. ED-209, but I'm sorry I made you waste an invitation  :-(
Thanks anyway  :-)
