: "H&P must feel like they're being nibbled to death by...  ...what are those Earth creatures: feathers, long bill, webbed feet, go 'quack'?"

: "Cats."

: "Cats... H&P must feel like they're being nibbled to death by cats."

(Apologies to those who are not Babylon 5 fans, as the above will most likely make no sense to you   :-) )

Just an educated guess, but I'd say "no". He reads the Amiga forums too, and I'm pretty certain he'll pick any potential business partners with a great deal more care after this, which means he won't get involved with any more dubious characters.

Couldn't resist... but still - is there any possible partners left then? :-)

Why would Meyer even consider developing for Amiga anymore?

You people treated him like SCUM.

Yes, members of the Amiga community and Amiga companies.

I boycott H&P for their actions.

I will rephrase that as people think it is pointed to people in this thread,

Meyer made a good Amiga product but "Some" members of the Amiga community have treated Meyer like SCUM (including H&P),

Would you develop for a platform where people shove knives in your back? i certainly would not.

@Wilse

No, i think Amithlon is a superb product destroyed by people who should NOT be supported.

Babylon 5: Wonderful memories.

I'm looking forward to season two coming out on DVD at the end of April.  It's just too bad that in the season one featurette, JMS mistook the Amiga as the Atari when mentioning what computer was used to make season one.

Unfortunately, there are backstabbers on ALL computer platforms.  Even MorphOS.  Well, okay, I suppose there aren't any on the Sinclair ... anymore. :-P

Maybe his latest experiences with the Amiga have been traumatizing - to say the least - but he'll bounce back because he still has a following.  While I personally wasn't interested in Amithlon or AmigaXL for that matter (I'll never own a "PC"), I have seen it in action at several local user group meetings.  I was impressed with it and was hoping for a Mac version one day.
