Dreamcast Dead Joypad Ports.

Anybody know anything about DC faults. Got my Dreamcast back after lending it to my bro but the punk has broken it,the screen comes up to change date/time but cant input anything, the joypad ports seem to be dead. the pad works, tested them on a friends Dreamcast. cheers.

yeap. I know exactly what parts burns out on why the ports wont work, but I will post about this matter when I get back from school though, it starts in 30mins! :-)

one of the resistors has blown (i think)

it'll cost you about 2p to fix it, if you're decent at soldering


common problem, apparently
i'll post a link when i find one, just look up it up on google, you'l come up with something
