Hypertec PCMCIA Network Card
« on: August 31, 2004, 02:35:23 PM »
I bought a Hypertec Hypernet PCMCIA network card off Ebay to use in my A1200/030. It is listed in the cnet.device compatibility list in the part ripped from the Linux list so I took a gamble.

I was really looking forward to getting this working but:

Trying to configure it using miami I get an error message

CISTPL_CONF_MAP tuple not found

and I cant get card_info to recognise it either. I think I have cardreset and everything working properly. I assume its not compatible, any suggestions?

Ive tried removing it while the computer is on, booting with it out then putting it in while it is on etc

Still no luck.

Are you sure the card is functioning?  (ie. try it in a PC?).
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

Yeah I tried it in a laptop PC and it worked fine.

Ive also installed WB 3.1 (as suggested on AmigaWorld.net) and still get the same error message.

Have you chacked it with 'prepcard' or whatever is the name of this tool in the system?
