I once bought ZIP ram from him, for my A3000 (now sold). He shipped the chips in an envelope with very little bubble padding inside, and no anti-static bag of any kind was used. Luckily, 95% of chips worked on arrival. I think I bought something like 32MB+ of ZIP ram, and I at least got 32MB working, which was enough to use in two A3000 and load them up to 16MB each. I figured it wasn't worth to complain about the odd chip not working, here and there, however I definitely will not buy from that guy ever again.
Dragster, it would be wise to let it go as far as feedback is conserned, as he can always retaliate. Perhaps reporting him to eBay would be better? I'm not sure what you can do in order not to provoke negative feedback from the seller.
EDIT:
Or...wait for the last few hours, before feedback giving time is about to expire, and post negative feedback and hope he doesn't catch it before the expiration time.
