If you didn't trsut him, why did you bid. The auction I looked at only ended Aug 10- - the guy could simply be out of town.

I have several auctions where it's taken 7 to 10 days for people to get back to me...

Yup... that seems to be the thing with some of the
EBay sellers now.

A month or so ago I bid on and won an A3000 (nicely equiped)
My bid met his reserve but I guess he wanted more.
He didn't respond to my EMails. I guess its cheaper for
them to keep it and list it again later than to let it
go for what was bid.
That is what a reserve is for, to at least get your
bottom price. His reserve was actually a little more
than the usual going price but I thought 'What the Hell'

I would really like to have had that A3000.

You have to remember not everyone is a Computer Geek and online checking emails every other second.  Give the guy a few more days or a week.  He may be out of town. Maybe an accident?  Have you tried calling him?

I have had this happen before.  Actually I was on the other side recently.  I injured my knee real bad (tore my ACL!) and could not get out of the house let alone out of the bed to go online for over a week.  Yes I about died! lol  I had sold a item on eBay and had not shipped it out yet.  When I finally did send it out the buyer was so pissed off.  Crap happens, life sucks... lol

he replied quickly during the auction, after (about 2 hrs later after it ended) he replied then nothing.  Well, if not I guess it'll be ok cause I bought 2 more A500's other then those two.
