Most likely you will not get much, as you are reaching only a small, limited market (local pick-up). You must be very lucky in order for this auction to sell well. You should have set worldwide shipping and perhaps split the items in a few auctions, if you don't feel comfortable shipping all as one big package.

Well the reserve is fairly high, if it doesn't sell more than likely I'll sell off the bits separately.

Apart from the fact its collect only you only accept paypal if i was you i would be carefull off acepting paypal for items sold people can use it for fraud, they buy the item and in my mate stevens case sighned for it to say it was in good condition then sent my mate pictures to say it was damaged they had the covers off and had changed the memory and cpu outer panels had no damage so it could have only been damaged with case sides off .Couriers insurance which is done by an independent company refused to pay out because it had been tampered with and damage claimed could only happen with the case sides off ,but paypal told my mate after 3 weeks they had payed her despite the fact it had bits missing and had parts changed .My mate steven is not using paypal or paying them the money back.They are a great company if a buyer wants to commit fraud . :-(

Yeah, that was probably a good thing that you put a big reserve price. :-) At least now you are sure that it won't sell very cheap.

Yeah, since the whole lot did cost rather a lot of money I'd like to see a fairly good return, as Amiga hardware doesn't seem to depreciate much, if at all.

I don't see the point of reserves.  If you won't sell for less than £100, just start the bidding at £100.

NOT TRUE!  Amiga hardware, like all computer hardware, does depreciate.  When I bought one of the very first Amiga 2000 computers back in 1987 it cost me $2,450.00.  Now I can get the same system for under $100.00.  The same thing holds true for all of the other Amiga models as well.   :roll:
