HOLY CRAP BATMAN! :-o

I wouldn't believe it except the buyer is a former buyer of mine and an Amiga.org user. These Z3 memory boards are one of the most highly sought items, but $630? :-o

Is it just me, or does anyone else get a little cynical when they see an auction like that were a new user -   lastikbandz  (created a few days after the auction started) - starts frantically bidding, pushing the price up extraordinarily high?

Holy crow.

I guess maybe I'll put my DKB 3128 up for sale then.  I didn't know it was *that* valuable.

Offers, anyone?

If you want to sell it, i'd recommend doing it right away and probably with a $500 buy it now option. after an auction like this eBay will probably be flooded soon with DKB 3128 boards for sale:-)

I wonder if Elbox or someone is looking at these prices and thinking whether to produce a new Z3 memory board for the A3k/A4k?

Given the apparent demand it might be worthwhile.

You know thats just sick and stupid! you can buy a Pegasos or Amiga1 for the price of that and an Amiga to put it into. How can anyone spend so much money on something that takes suck slow RAM is crazy. Sure with a CSPPC or MK III and this you can have 256MB of RAM in an a3000/4000 for OS4 but other then wanting to run OS4 WHY would you need that much RAM?? CRAZY man!!

Well let's not go nuts, also don't forget Ami-mac-sun is a user here. Maybe he really needs it for some reason, or just happens to have the cash and is tired of looking? It is a fairly uncommon board.

I would not pay that much, and it's much higher than I would expect. However I caution from people being so quick to call a fellow Amigan stupid or such.
