If you want to use a PS/2 maouse to your Amiga, the simplest thing is to buy an adaptor from Vesalia.de... Just plug it in, and it works... Can´t be easier... :-)

No, it plugs into the Amiga mouse port, and lets you use a PS2 mouse as an Amiga mouse. You don't need any software for it to  work, but you need the software to activate the middle mouse button, or scroll wheel.

You can get software from Aminet to let you use a mouse on the serial port, but it has to have the software running for the mouse to work.

You won't be able to find a real PS/2 to Amiga adapter (like Elbox' Cocolino ) for 5$.

No idea what they're selling there (maybe relabeled Cocolinos?) but if it is a real PS/2 to Amiga adapter, the price seems to be okay. Anyway, we're talking about Merlancia, so who cares ;-)

It is an actual PS2 adapter, I have one and it works quite well on both my 2000 and 500.

Yep.  The Mr. Mysza is an actual PS/2 adaptor for Amiga mouseport.  It works well.  I have one around here, somewhere.

They are available from Mr. Hardware computers, in case you want to cut out the middle-man.  (Which I would highly recommend, since Merlancia has proven to be untrustworthy.)
