Whilst on the subject of trading
« on: August 10, 2004, 01:45:42 PM »
This is probably the wrong place to ask but I've had my fun out of the A1200 and I want to move onto something else... Does anyone have a PowerMAC (604 or early G3) in England they might want to trade for my upgraded A1200D?

It's got lots with it so if anyone's interested just ask :-)

Hi Robert17,

The Amiga 1200 is a low quality, poorly made Amiga.  So I can see why you want to dump it on someone else (I dumped mine a long time ago).  If you had an Amiga 2000 or 3000 computer then I would consider trading you a really nice Power Macintosh.  I get Power Macs, in like new condition, all the time.  I pay $5.00 for each computer at my local Goodwill Outlet.  I am looking for the following:

Atari Mega ST (in like new condition with box)
Piccaso II or IV card
CyberVision card
Blizzard 060 board for Amiga 2000
Atari SC1224 Color Monitor (like new in box)

If you have any of these items I will trade you a nice Power Macintosh.   :-D
My favorite TV shows:  Star Trek Voyager, Forever Knight, Stargate SG1, Married with Children, As Time Goes By, Mr. Bean, Smallville, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Xena

He was just stating his opinion of the A1200, yet again. Which is perfectly fine by the posting guidlines. The rest of BoingBoss' post is off-topic.
Your post was uncalled for and bordered on a personal attack. There was not need. If you have a problem with him, PM one of the Admins or us the Contact Us from on the left under System Info.
This is warning number two for you, also, there will not be a third.
A3000D (16mhz, 2MB Chip, 4MB Fast, SCSI (300+MB), SuperGen Genlock, Kick 3.1)
Back in my day, we didn\'t have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we\'d just have to shove them together.

@BoingBoss
Okay, You've stated this opinion multiple times. If your not interested, don't respond. Secondly, your off-topic. He's got an A1200, that's it. Obviously not what you are looking for. I strongly suggest that you start your own topic for this trade instead of posting it in everyone elses.
This is Warning number two, you don't get a Third.

I sold an 8200 + monitor on ebay for £3 the other week. If I'd known I would have swapped it, hell I would probably have given it to you. Mostlikely a much better cause than the ponce in the white pim ass bmw that came to collect it and spent more time on his mobile phone than talking to me, didn't thank me and didn't leave me any feedback...
Restraining orders are just another way of saying I love you!

Hehe well I see they go quite cheap on Ebay anyway, like 40 or 50 quid for what I'm looking for, The amiga has a Blizzard 1230IV with 8mb ram and a squirrel scsi interface with cdrom and iomega zip drive, although I don't have the patience to get the squirrel working :-p

Hmmm this must be a communist board, if anyone wishes to express a concern or ask the 'Gods' why they do something, their post simply disappears without a trace.  Nice.  *sigh*  Oh well.

Absolutely amazing.
