Heimdall 2 manual/help

I've got this on my CD32, and it (and seemingly all the other CD32 titles that came with it) don't have their manuals, unless the manual is an the inlay booklet.

Anyway, I can work out how to run around and hit things, swap character, buy and sell. But how do I use scrolls? How do I cast spells and use runes?

the only one i could find was for heimdall

hmm, that suggests that a mouse is needed as well.
