If you have a CSA Twelve Guage CSA1250 accelerator you can't use 3.1 roms :-(

Check out 'Blizkick'; it will allow you to use
rom images other than what's in your machine,
and it's a great program besides. You should
be able to use 3.1 roms that way (you may have
to actually own the 3.1 roms for legal reasons,
but I'm not sure anymore).
