How much are those things worth? Are all Super Denise chips made equal or are the different Amiga models using different version Super Denises?

The superdenise chip, is called 8373r4, is the last denise chip made by commodore, you can found it in A500+,A600 & A3000 (an a CDTV last productions have this chip too)
The difference is much faster, more resolutions, more colors but is ECS, ECS is limited to Ham6 mode. The completed pack called ECS is super denise & Super Agnus (2mb chip)

My super denise chip is damaged, i need one :(

As far as I know this ECS denise allows some very limited VGA modes, but that's it. Other than that it's exactly slow as OCS, and as few colours as OCS.

yes the colors and colors palette is denise chip, but have this diferences ( i use this two chips).
have the 8 hardware sprites a little faster, support for high resolution vga,  and for example,the format pchg , iff (640x512xham6) is the best method for view the diference, is much much faster... an of course, using scala, for example, playing anims in ham6 mode (but is a little diference), the colors is equal, 2,4,8,16,32,64,ham,etc ... the super denise is not a lisa chip
i compared for example, denisie/super denise chip with 68000/68010... a litte diference but is a good example =)

@DaNi

Sounds like a chip that's worth $750. :-)
