Lars "got sick", missed Download Festival. Dave lombardo, others fill in.

How funny is this from start to finish? Metallica, the hypocritical anti-technology, anti-P2P Pop group gets a gig playing called the Download Festival.

Is that good enough? It gets better. Supposedly Lars gets sick on the way to the concert and can not play, I wonder why. Dave Lombardo from Slayer, Joey from Slipknot and a roadie fill in for the MIA Lars.

BTW I found out about this from an interview with Lombardo and Araya on Headbangers Ball last weekend. What a laugh! You just got to see Lombardo's face when asked about it. His answer was  something like, "uh yeah it was fun (rolls eyes), but that's it, it won't happen again.". I actually have it recorded, justo to see his facial expression tells it all :lol:

Maybe Lars should miss more live shows - that's the best set-list I've seen 'tallica do for a vey long time :-o :lol:
