You need to have OS 3.1 installed with a CD-filesystem for your CD-ROM (available at aminet). When that's done you just insert the CD and click install. It is best to do this over a clean 3.1-install but it should work anyway.

You should also create an emergancy-disk after the install. It allows you to boot the CD if you should need to install AOS 3.9 again. It'll let you skip the install of AOS 3.1 from disks.

Welcome!

Any ISO9660 burned CD should be readable by an Amiga CD filesystem, though some older CD drives have problems with them. There might be some trouble with Mac HFS discs, but those don't seem to be too common anymore.

Check the versions in the menu Workbench->About (or Spanish equivalent). If it's V40 or greater, you can install 3.9

Yeah,

You could also try the `version` command!

Type “version LIBS:workbench.library full

The A1200 3.1 Kickstart ROM contains: 40.85 (05/05/1993)
Type “version intuition.library full

I'd keep the 1084 for the games and demos.  There are some things in the operating system called "coersion" and "mode promotion" that will attempt to force all of your applications to use your BlizzardVision GFX card but demos and games bang away on the hardware directly so there is no way to force them to use the operating system... unless you run them under the PowerPC version of UAE that will come bundled with AmigaOS 4 when it is released.

Moore questions, bufff sorry jejejejje.
what keys are for display the startup menu from ppc???
the "2" key,i think, is for "disable the 1260 card" and i need happend what keys are for enable the card and the startup menu.

Another,
i installed,(3 or 4 years ago jejejej) the drivers come with the card and my system detects only 040 is installed. I remember installed the oxipatcher for the card, my system works good, but i dont know, if the speed of the system is good for this card or no.
What is the more efficient drivers or librarys for install this blizzardppc 060 603+ with scsi, the drivers come with the card or anothers???

very very thx.

I dunno...  Can you swap the clutch on an Alfa Romeo, Blob?

I think we should start a "Blob for Prime Minister" thread?

Hum,
i`ve never been into road cars , but swapping the clutch sounds easy, just a case of `plug & and play`, easier than changing the tracks on a tiger tank...though i`ve never tried, and i would probably  break a fingernail...

@Robert17
it means excuse me for my excruciatingly bad Spanish....
